A&L Mechanical Installations Limited is committed to preventing modern slavery, forced labour, servitude, human trafficking, and exploitation in all areas of its business activities and supply chain.
The Company recognises its responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Scotland) Act 2015 and is committed to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency, in all business relationships.
A&L Mechanical Installations Limited operates a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. The Company will not knowingly engage with any organisation, supplier, contractor, or business partner involved in slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, or any form of exploitation.
The Company is committed to maintaining effective systems and controls to identify, assess, and mitigate the risk of modern slavery occurring within its operations and supply chain. As part of this commitment, supplier approval and review processes will include consideration of ethical, legal, and employment practices where appropriate.
Directors and Senior Management are responsible for implementing this policy and ensuring adequate resources are available to support awareness, training, monitoring, and compliance activities. Employees are expected to remain vigilant to indicators of modern slavery and to report any concerns through the appropriate management channels.
This policy forms part of the A&L Mechanical Installations Limited Integrated Management System and supports the organisation’s wider commitments to legal compliance, ethical business conduct, and responsible supply chain management.
This policy shall be communicated to employees, contractors, suppliers, and other interested parties as appropriate and shall be available on request.
The Company will review this policy annually, or sooner where required by changes in legislation, organisational structure, or business activities, to ensure its ongoing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness.
