A&L Mechanical Installations Ltd were incorporated in June 1990 and secured several small mechanical installation sub-contracts within the Water Industry.  Competitive pricing of enquiries continued leading to a steady stream of small sub-contracts awarded from leading Water Engineering Contractors. The focus of the business was to provide Mechanical Installations within the Water Industry and to  establish a Client Base by providing Quality, Service & Value.

Excellent progress was made within 5 years as the client base developed and became more established. By 1995, the Business began to gain recognition within the Water Sector. Growth of the business continued between 1995 & 1999, A&L developed a strong reputation for delivering consistent Quality and Service. This led to new opportunities in Scotland which led to several new clients and contracts.

With a growing client base and continued investment, A&L continued to develop and secure contracts within the Water Industry. Since 2005, A&L have concentrated on Scottish Water’s Capital Investment Programmes and the Company is a well-known and  established Framework Contractor and Delivery Partner. Consistent provision of engineering solutions and installations has led to year-on-year growth and Frameworks have been secured throughout Scotland.

In recent years the business has continued to develop and improve. In 2018 a revised business strategy was developed to include restructuring, re-branding, and wider marketing. The company acquired larger premises and invested heavily in growth and development of the business. A concentrated effort to widen the exposure of the business throughout the UK and Ireland has been very successful leading to Award-winning recognition, accreditation, and enhancement of the company’s reputation throughout the Water Industry.
