We are proud to announce a significant addition to the A&L Mechanical Installations Ltd. team as part of our ongoing growth and development strategy. Gary Russell has joined us as our new Welding and Fabrication Workshop Manager, and will also serve as our Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC).
Gary brings with him over 25 years of industry experience, having built his career at Wallace McDowall. His progression from Apprentice to Supervisor to Manager/RWC reflects a deep, hands-on understanding of fabrication and welding at every level. His leadership in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing projects has consistently delivered operational improvements—skills that will be instrumental as we scale our capabilities and enhance our service delivery.
This appointment marks a major step forward in our strategic growth plan, reinforcing our commitment to investing in top-tier talent and strengthening our in-house expertise. As we continue to expand our operations and take on more complex and demanding projects, Gary’s experience and leadership will play a key role in ensuring we maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Outside of work, Gary enjoys football and nature walks, bringing a grounded and team-oriented spirit to our workplace culture.
