A&L MEICA Secures £760K Infrastructure Upgrade Project.

A&L MEICA is delighted to announce the successful award of a significant infrastructure upgrade project in partnership with the Caledonia Water Alliance, commissioned by Scottish Water. The project, valued at over £760,000, marks a strategic milestone in our continued commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the water sector.

Project Overview
The scope of work involves a critical upgrade of the existing infrastructure at Saltcoats SPS, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, reliability, and compliance with stringent industry standards. The upgrade encompasses:

• New Packaged Plant Installation: Deployment of modern, pre-integrated systems to optimize performance and simplify maintenance.
• Mechanical Rotating Equipment Replacement: Upgrading pumps, motors, and fans to improve energy efficiency and system longevity. (Pumps and associated interconnection pipework, Structural access platforms, and critical process isolations)
• Electrical & Instrumentation Systems Modernisation: Installation of advanced control panels, sensors, actuators, cabling, and PLCs to enable intelligent monitoring and automation.
